On December 20th, instead of meeting at the church, we will be visiting the residents at Tracy Convalescent Home to do some caroling and bring them some small gifts. What better way to show our kiddos how to spread Christmas cheer!? All kids are welcome, all ages! You can feel free to invite friends and other family if you would like, as well. We will also be doing a book gift exchange for the kids, so bring a new or used wrapped book for each child! Here are the details:
When: December 20th at 10:00am
Where: Tracy Convalescent Home, 545 W Beverly Place
What: Caroling, passing out small gifts & book exchange for the kids
**PLEASE NOTE: Due to the population we will be visiting, it is important that we be careful not to bring in any sick germs. If anyone in your home is sick leading up to the event, it would be best to avoid attending so we can protect the health of the residents. Thank you for understanding!
Keep an eye on your mail, mommas, becuase you’re all invited for a fun event to kick start our year! Save the date, come on over for some fun, and get ready for our year of the Starry Eyed!
We are VERY excited to announce that next year we will be a MOPS AND MOMSnext group at St Paul’s! This means we will welcome moms of the littlest babes, moms of pre-teens and teenagers and everyone in between! WHY, you ask? Because the need for community doesn’t stop when your kids start elementary school! We’re excited to journey through motherhood with YOU! Registration opens to the public on May 1st!
What is MOMSnext, you ask? From mops.org, MOMSnext is…
“A group for mothers of school-age children. At MOPS International we believe Better Moms Make a Better World. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age children. A MOMSnext group is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age children to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.”
We are excited to have the opportunity to add MOMSnext mom into our MOPS group to give them a place to be able to share and grow as mothers to school aged children!
